Hi guys and girls. My name is Peter, I live near Newcastle in New South Wales in Oz. I am into camping, bushwalking, climbing, motorcycling (road touring and trail riding). I have had a interest in the outdoors and adventure activities for some time. I have always enjoyed being independant and believe in being prepared, having the right equipment, the ability to improvise and to be practised in self-rescue skills. The people here seem to be a diverse lot and I look forward to learning from your range of skills and experience.

Cheers Peter

Greetings from Canada. Being able to improvise is great, thinking first. ( Don't just do something, stand there! ) Being here I suspect we all see the value of being prepared at least mentally and probably materially. Still luck is good too 🙂 You can verify with Rick, I've gotten by on luck for a long time.

Hey - Another Aussie :) !

I'm down in Tasmania,  but I make it a point to travel to NSW at least once a year for the 'www.oceanfit.com.au' clinics....
