rothco nomex flight gloves

Recommended Posts

Just got these in from amazon

Really comfortable, allows lots of movement

Leather is a bit sticky

I will compare them to PIG alpha touch gloves when they arrive

Wow they look durable.

i have my doubts

Wen itcomes to gloves, you get either limited dexterity and durable, or great dexterity and fragile.

These things feel almost like dress gloves, but if they last longer than Mechanix ill be happy

A year, maybe half a year, depending on how much i use them, ive gone through several pairs

A year to a year and a half is about how long my Mechanix tend to last me before I spill like 3 quarts of oil on them or run over then with a lawnmower (it seriously happened). Most of the time I can find the off brand of the Mechanix style at either HD or Lowes for an okay price and just go with them instead.

a bit more to add....

gloves get hot, easily

thumbs are too big, even though the gloves are the right size

a few places where the leather is damaged, but looks to just be cosmetic

Oh ok! Thanks for the heads up! :)

And that sounds good, then. Maybe they're better with colder temps.
